5G spectrum auction most probably in Feb 2022: Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw


The 5G spectrum auctions will “most probably” be held in February 2022, and the federal government will also take a look at for a January timeline, Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated on Wednesday.

Speaking to PTI, Vaishnaw stated that the telecom reforms package deal cleared by means of the Cabinet is good enough for the survival of present avid gamers, and added that with extra reforms, and extra structural adjustments, which are within the pipeline, “more players should come”.
