Former JD(U) MP Pavan Varma joins TMC, says ‘important to strengthen Opposition’

Former JD(U) MP Pavan Varma joined Trinamool Congress on Monday, announcing it was once the will of the hour to paintings for strengthening the Opposition.

Meanwhile, Congress chief Kirti Azad also joined the TMC on Tuesday. He met TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the South Avenue and joined the celebration.

“I will work under her leadership till I retire from politics. Will resist all attempts to divide society,” Azad stated after becoming a member of TMC.
